Delta Dental Ins. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the Next Gen Applications Suite.

You will design, build, deliver, and maintain a scalable set of products and applications, working with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, architects, principal engineers, software engineers, test automation, and DevOps. You will contribute to architecture, write production-ready code, and ensure quality through TDD and CD, while mentoring junior engineers and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MS is a plus.
• Experience designing scalable and secure applications and products.
• Experience with Azure or similar cloud platform.
• Experience developing and enhancing Formworks-based applications.
• Experience with Azure Document Intelligence/OCR.
• Ability to translate business plans into IT business cases.
• Strong communication and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to guide and mentor associate engineers.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to engineering team building scalable products.
• Participates in architectural design and system analysis.
• Develops production-ready software with scalable, secure patterns.
• Writes high-quality code with end-to-end ownership and monitoring.
• Documents all developed work clearly for the team.
• Tests and ensures quality following TDD and CD principles.
• Participates in code reviews and mentors engineers.
