Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AWS/TypeScript) to design and build enterprise-grade microservices and modern web applications. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, QA, Architects, and clients to deliver scalable, secure solutions, using TypeScript, AWS, Java/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD practices.

This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience developing applications with TypeScript.
Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions on AWS.
Strong experience with SQL/PLSQL for data access and database programming.

Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and build responsive web applications with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and maintainability, writing unit, integration, and automated test cases.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, support DevOps activities, and troubleshoot production issues to provide timely resolutions.
