Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript/AWS) to design, develop, and enhance modern full stack applications. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions and drive CI/CD automation in a distributed, remote-capable team.

You will work in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, and focus on reliability, performance, and security across cloud-native deployments on AWS.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience developing full stack applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of modern software development principles and architecture.
• Experience developing and maintaining cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience with Git/GitHub and modern version control practices.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Knowledge of software security best practices and application performance optimization.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
