Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Undersea Recon & Strike to drive end-to-end software delivery across autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control for maritime platforms. You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and work across teams while traveling up to 20% to co-locate with end-users.

A US Secret clearance is required; a bachelor’s degree in CS/Robotics and hands-on experience with scalable software are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive software engineering experience across domains and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, testing and system design.
• Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to own software services end-to-end and lead cross-functional efforts.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and drive solutions in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Own software solutions deployed to customers, optimizing value delivery.
• Design and implement scalable software with a path for architecture evolution.
• Develop reusable components across Anduril product lines.
• Work on software for robotic platforms and on- and off-board systems.
• Lead development processes for vehicle and mission software, including testing and operation.
• Create test and simulation fixtures for software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users up to 20% of the time.
