Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software components for remote weapon systems and autonomous platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware and support advanced R&D in defense technologies.

This on-site role in Crane, IN requires a BS or MS in CS/CE and 5+ years of experience, with strong C++, Python, or Java skills and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with software development tools, version control systems, and SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities
