Job summary

SAIC has an immediate need for a Senior Software Developer in Huntsville, AL, supporting the Precision Fires team for CCDC Aviation and Missile Center. You will design and develop embedded software for military systems on Redstone Arsenal, participating in all phases of the software life cycle.

The role emphasizes strong C/C++ and OO design, Agile/Scrum practices, CI/CD, and collaboration with Cyber, Safety, Operations, and Test groups. On-site with potential for remote work and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree with nine years of experience, or six additional years in lieu of degree.
• Active Secret clearance required; US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of embedded software for military systems across the full life cycle.
• Perform requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, test, and documentation.
• Participate in software team meetings, design reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
• Collaborate with Cyber, Safety, Operations, and Test teams to deliver quality software.
