Job summary

Worldpay in the United States is seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer to design, develop, and test modern web interfaces for our payment platform.

You will collaborate with product and IT stakeholders, implement responsive UI, apply SEO, and ensure code quality through SDLC practices, CI/CD, and automated testing. This role emphasizes UX, performance, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• About 8 years of experience in software development methodologies.
• 5+ years hands-on front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• 5+ years experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, Bootstrap).
• 5+ years building web services in SOAP and/or REST using Java, Spring/Spring Boot framework.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong experience collaborating with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Solid experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Sonatype Nexus repository.
• Fluent in complex SQL; experience with DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server preferred.
• Experience with data streaming (Kafka), data messaging, and event-driven systems.
• Experience with modern agile software delivery practices (CI/CD, TDD, BDD, DevOps, automation).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

Competitive compensation with a salary range of $108,200.00 – $181,800.00 based on role, level, and location. Additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and education may influence starting pay.
