Job summary

Hybrid role with 3 days/week in the Minneapolis office. Competitive base pay range of $117,000 to $158,000 plus a 20% annual bonus target; strong AWS, Java/Kotlin/Groovy, and distributed systems experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems and high-traffic cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway) and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects with minimal oversight and clear trade-offs.
• Focus on uptime and resilience in design and security-conscious development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for complex features within Apps & Behaviors Platform.
• Design scalable components using AWS infrastructure and best practices.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering practices to speed up delivery.
• Own features end-to-end from code to release and improve reliability.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical bar across the team.
