Job summary

Rose International in the Birmingham area seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead application development and systems integration efforts. The role focuses on backend APIs with .NET Core and C#, and supporting an Open Banking application in an AWS environment.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams to deliver new features, participate in sprint planning and code reviews, and design scalable solutions across the full SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of .NET development experience with .NET Core and C#.
• Hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using .NET Core and C#.
• Support and enhance an Open Banking application in an AWS environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software Installs and configures systems and other software.
• Tests installed software for malfunction detection Identifies and resolves business systems issues.
• Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems
• Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
• Develops and implements strategies to improve systems Monitors and tests system performance Maintains full ownership of a process typically
• May act as a procedural expert May lead the work of junior level associates
