Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Data & Integration) to lead analysis, design, and delivery of scalable software and data solutions using Python, SQL, and modern frameworks.

You will build REST APIs, integrate data across platforms, and mentor developers in an agile DevOps environment. The role focuses on data integration, enterprise data warehousing, Power BI reporting, and Azure cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong Python development, OOP, and engineering best practices.
• Advanced SQL, database design, performance tuning, and enterprise data platforms.
• REST APIs, JSON services, and data integration experience.
• Experience building analytics with Power BI.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and enterprise-scale deployments.
• Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of junior developers.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software and data solutions.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and data workflows across platforms.
