You will bring up platforms, validate performance, and troubleshoot complex issues with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with fewer years. Proficiency in C/C++, Linux, Java/Kotlin, and Git/Gerrit is required.

Develop, customize, integrate, and maintain AOSP software for embedded and custom hardware, working across Android framework components, system services, native software, HALs, and Linux. Bring up and validate platforms, troubleshoot system-level issues, optimize performance and reliability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience, with 8+ years of relevant experience; alternative pathways include an advanced degree with 6+ years or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Candidates need hands-on AOSP expertise, strong C/C++ and Linux skills, Android internals knowledge, experience with Java and/or Kotlin and Git/Gerrit, and the ability to validate AI-generated engineering output.
