Job summary
RTX’s Air Traffic Solutions – Software Engineering Department seeks an experienced Software Engineer to develop and support air traffic management systems. You will work on software components from design to testing within a collaborative, on-site team in the US, focusing on C/C++ and Unix/Linux environments.
The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years) and offers a strong benefits package.
Qualifications
- Requires STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience developing, integrating, testing and validating software components in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Experience with the complete software development lifecycle using C/C++.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software packaged into ATMS products.
- Maintain documentation and work instructions to meet high maturity software engineering standards.
- Participate in agile process: daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, story pointing.
- Collaborate with an integrated engineering team across management and stakeholders.
