Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with large, complex codebases as part of a collaborative team.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Shape the technical direction of a small, high-impact team while remaining hands-on in design, implementation, and review.
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Lead by example with production-quality C++ and Python powering mission-critical systems.
- Prototype and guide prototypes to deployed, tactical solutions in an Agile environment.
- Own all aspects of the software development lifecycle and communicate complex concepts clearly.
