Anduril Industries is seeking a software engineer to own configuration and deployment for Air Defense tower variants, including radar and infrared camera services, on a declarative NixOS-based platform.

You will migrate legacy configurations, integrate hardware payloads, and own end-to-end delivery from design to shipping products, coordinating with program teams and engineers. US security clearance eligibility is required.

Competenze

• 2+ years professional software engineering building and shipping real systems.
• Proficiency in Rust or C++, with ability to work in existing codebases.
• Solid Linux systems fundamentals including command line, systemd, networking basics, and log-driven debugging.
• Practical experience integrating software with hardware such as sensors, embedded devices, or instrumentation.
• Demonstrated ability to own system components end-to-end including configuration, deployment, testing, and support.
• Clear written communication for interfacing between program requirements and team implementation.
• US person status with eligibility to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

Mansioni

• Own software configuration for Air Defense tower variants including product definitions, payload and sensor configuration, networking, and declarative image builds.
• Integrate and support sensor payloads, particularly radar and infrared camera services, managing configuration and behavior differences between air defense and perimeter security products.
• Develop features driven by Air Defense program requirements from design through implementation and delivery into shipping products.
• Migrate legacy variant configurations onto the modern platform base, replacing product-specific configurations with common, composable modules.
• Own software update and deployment paths, manufacturing test configuration, field triage and root-cause analysis, and coordinate between program engineers and team implementation.
