PickUp is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build an AI-powered job automation platform. You will design scalable web applications and contribute to core features that streamline job applications for candidates.

You will work with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, mentor peers, and participate in architectural planning. This remote, full-time role offers competitive equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with Next.js or similar full-stack frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and integrating LLM APIs.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Build and optimize AI-powered features for job matching and application automation.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Participate in architecture decisions and technical planning.
• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
