Job summary

Striveworks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute from day one to our Chariot platform, delivering reliable ML model tooling and services. You will write quality Go and Python, influence product direction, and work across teams to push the boundaries of our capabilities.

The role requires hands-on development, strong design sense, and a drive to own the end-to-end lifecycle while mentoring others in a hybrid work setting with travel to Northern Virginia customer sites.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of hands-on development experience.
• Expertise in Go, C++ (17+), Java (11+), C# (9+), or Rust.
• Proficiency in Python and DevOps tooling (CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud architectures (commercial cloud, OpenStack).
• Ability to design and develop scalable services.

Responsibilities

• Lead design discussions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Independently drive the software development life cycle from requirements to deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive code reviews.
