Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript/JavaScript/Go/Rust.
• Experience with data modeling and relational databases.
• Experience with Kafka and data pipelines.
• Experience building cloud-native microservices on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD, ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced security controls for shadow AI, GenAI, and AI agents across SaaS and desktop apps.
• Own cloud-native microservice architecture that safeguards workspaces globally.
• Develop endpoint enforcement as part of Akamai's endpoint agent.
• Leverage AI frameworks to build AI-powered security capabilities.
• Work across OS-level components to cloud backend services and React management console.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Product Management, and Security Experts to release code multiple times per day.
