Job summary

Lumen is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to support and enhance ERP systems in an agile environment. You’ll analyze requirements with users, design solutions, and deliver moderate-complexity system enhancements, documenting designs and approaches for clarity and reuse.

You’ll partner with development and business teams to implement robust, scalable software, while contributing to automated testing and performance improvements in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 4+ years with a master’s.
• Experience with SAP S4/Fiori Procurement and Master Data.
• Familiar with SAP S4/Fiori Project Systems, Budgeting, and Asset Information.
• Strong background in Agile practices including planning, grooming, sprint, daily standup and retrospectives.
• Experience developing and tuning large-scale, high-performance software.
• Exposure to AI technologies and related tooling.
• Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, debug and support new software roll-outs or enhancements in an Agile Scrum team.
• Collaborate with business partners and technical staff to meet requirements.
• Work with product developers to define and implement automated tests.
• Document work to promote transparency and reuse.
• Build production-grade systems achieving target SLAs for scalability and reliability.
• Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
• Demonstrate accountability for completing assignments on time.
