Job summary

Gallup's San Francisco office is seeking a senior software engineer to design and deliver full‑stack features, build production‑grade systems, and accelerate prototypes into scalable products.

You’ll prototype with AI technologies, architect robust APIs, choose appropriate frameworks, and mentor teammates while staying security‑minded and production‑oriented.

On-site presence is required at least three days per week; we offer a strong benefits package and compensation described below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least five years of production software experience with backend focus.
• Hands-on API design for web, mobile and third-party integrations.
• Solid front-end skills with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS native services and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship end-to-end features from DB to UI and deployment pipelines.
• Prototype with AI technologies and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Architect scalable systems and secure APIs, selecting frameworks and infra.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor others to raise the bar.
