Job summary

Hinge Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Visits team to own projects from design through launch as visit volume grows. You may focus on mobile, web, or backend services, with a startup pace and access to the resources of a market leader.

You will collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to extend the scheduling platform across more specialties, add real‑time booking with outside networks, and ensure correct bookings at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship, full‑time professional software engineering experience.
• Professional experience with at least one of the languages/frameworks: TypeScript, Go, React Native, or React.
• Experience leading a production feature or system from design through launch, collaborating with product and design partners.
• Professional experience using AI‑assisted development tools in daily engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from ambiguity to launch: partner with product, design, and clinical teams to create sequenced plans and ship at a steady pace.
• Extend the scheduling platform to support more specialties, providers, and real‑time bookings while maintaining accuracy with growing volume.
• Close the loop after each visit by building encounters and visit history used in the app, by providers, and by AI features.
• Bring new specialties onto one platform: launch migraine and GI care on shared visit infra with configuration rather than rebuilding.
• Run what you ship: define SLOs, rollout launches safely, lead incident response, and protect member health data in reviews.
• Raise the engineering bar: write design docs, perform high‑signal reviews, mentor early‑career engineers, and leverage AI to multiply output.
