Job summary

casavi GmbH in Germany is seeking a versatile software engineer who thrives in both backend and frontend. You will work in cross-functional teams to design and develop applications using Python, TypeScript, React, and microservices on AWS.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and a Scrum Master to deliver features, maintain code quality, and explore AI-based tooling to boost developer productivity. Strong English communication is expected; hybrid work model available.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-stack development with Python and TypeScript.
• Ability to design scalable architectures and SPAs.

• You are part of one of our cross-functional product teams, developing software that improves our customers' daily productivity
• With your team, you plan, architect & develop applications within the team’s tech stack, which includes Python, Rest API, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, Git/GitLab, Flask, React and Node.js in TypeScript, running on AWS

• You collaborate closely with fellow developers to build lasting, scalable, highly available, and reliable technical solutions, ensuring the overall excellence of our software platform

Your profile

• You feel equally at home in the backend as well as on the frontend and bring your experience to bear in both areas, whether it's complex architectures or the design of single-page applications, with the backend being your main strength
• You know the ins & outs of Python, and, ideally, have a good idea about TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• You are a power user of AI-based tools (ideally, have experience with GitHub Copilot), and you know how to boost your productivity with them safely and responsibly
• You know how to use LLMs as components of software architecture and as a means of delivering customer value
• You have working experience with building cloud applications on AWS
• You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check
• You have excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented & KPI-driven working style
• You are a strong communicator, and your English is at a very good level (>C1)
