Walmart in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead scalable software solutions across services, APIs, and AI/ML components. You will own feature delivery, drive the full SDLC, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust systems.

You will work with Java, Rust, Kafka, Cassandra, and Kubernetes to deliver high‑throughput, low‑latency experiences, with strong emphasis on engineering excellence and DevOps practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and 3+ years software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience may be required for senior level.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing is required.

Responsabilidades

• Own scoped feature delivery through engineering teams aligned to platform objectives.
• Write clean, efficient code across multiple languages and manage the full SDLC.
• Integrate AI/ML components to enhance software intelligence.
• Participate in design, evaluate trade‑offs, and ensure scalable, secure systems.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to maintain quality.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to translate business needs into technical outcomes.
• Monitor performance and drive observability and continuous improvement.
