Walmart Distribution Center in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the delivery of scalable software solutions, mentor peers, and drive CI/CD, testing, and AI/ML integration to enhance platform capabilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, design scalable architectures, review code, and ensure high performance and reliability across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 3 years of software engineering experience
• 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
• Experience delivering features through iterative development and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve capabilities.
• Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure quality and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor application performance and support continuous improvement through proactive testing and observability.
