Job summary

Walmart Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead feature and model delivery within the Marketing Technology Engineering Team.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to develop, test, and maintain scalable software systems with AI/ML integration and secure, auditable processes. You will drive the full SDLC, mentor peers, and ensure alignment with business objectives while applying solid technical judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

• Own feature and model delivery through collaborative teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence using internal and external APIs.
• Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure quality and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Monitor application performance and support integration and delivery practices.
• Mentor peers, share knowledge, promote engineering best practices for continuous improvement.
