Job summary

Orthogrid Systems in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance medical-grade software at the intersection of imaging and AI. You will design, implement, and test robust applications using C++ (Qt) and Python, and collaborate to integrate AI/ML models into production systems.

You will build, package, and deploy within CI/CD pipelines, contribute to architecture, debugging, and performance optimization, and ensure strong cybersecurity, documentation, and lifecycle

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar.
• You are proficient in C++ and Python.
• You are familiar with the Qt framework and build/deploy systems.
• You have experience with testing frameworks and cybersecurity practices.
• Experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test software primarily using C++ (Qt) and Python.
• Collaborate with research teams to integrate advanced AI/ML models into production applications.
• Build, package, and deploy applications within CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to system architecture, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Install, configure, and optimize applications on dedicated hardware, with strong attention to cybersecurity and system hardening.
• Produce and maintain professional-level technical documentation covering design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance activities.
