Job summary

Orthogrid Systems in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance medical-grade software at the intersection of imaging and AI. You will design, implement, and test robust applications using C++ (Qt) and Python, and collaborate to integrate AI/ML models into production systems.

You will build, package, and deploy within CI/CD pipelines, contribute to architecture, debugging, and performance optimization, and ensure strong cybersecurity, documentation, and lifecycle

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar.
• You are proficient in C++ and Python.
• You are familiar with the Qt framework and build/deploy systems.
• You have experience with testing frameworks and cybersecurity practices.
• Experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test software primarily using C++ (Qt) and Python.
• Collaborate with research teams to integrate advanced AI/ML models into production applications.

Your Background

You have an extensive experience (5 year +) as a Software Engineer or similar, working on large-scale, production-grade systems.

Additional Qualifications

• Proven experience developing applications with the Qt framework
• Familiarity with build and deployment systems such as TeamCity and Docker
• Experience with application testing frameworks (e.g., GoogleTest)
• Proficiency with collaboration and version control tools such as Git, including code reviews and branch management
• Strong ability to architect, debug, optimize, and refactor complex systems to support increased scale and complexity
• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity practices for software systems
• Knowledge of operating system security concepts, including Secure Boot, TPM, and secure key management
• Experience developing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) is a strong plus

Travels

Willingness and flexibility to travel, within USA and France as required.

Compensation range

Compensation range$110,000 - $138,000 base.
