Job summary

Cast AI, the AI platform inside CAST AI, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Harness team. You will own end-to-end features across the tech stack, from design to production rollout, shipping in 1-4 weeks, collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You should have production experience in Go or TypeScript, strong debugging and performance tuning, cloud/Kubernetes exposure, and a startup mindset. This is a remote-first, international role offering equity and growth.

Qualifications

• Production experience with Go or TypeScript.
• Strong debugging, optimization and performance-tuning skills.
• Hands-on cloud platforms experience (AWS, GCP or Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Observability tooling experience with Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Startup mindset: adaptable, proactive and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Strong English skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Architect planner/executor/evaluator pipelines with a reasoning model.
• Manage agent memory and context across sessions.
• Own the harness surface - TUI, MCP integrations, telemetry.
• Work directly with users to identify, understand and fix pain points.
