Job summary

Attentive is on a mission to redefine AI-powered marketing through first-party data and real-time insights. The Identity team owns the data collection stack—JS tag, Cloudflare Workers, and Java backends—while leveraging AI to improve data quality and coverage.

This remote US role offers broad ownership on a small, autonomous team. You’ll work across browser, edge, and backend domains, collaborating with a talented group that values ownership, experimentation, and scalable data systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering across multiple layers.
• Backend experience with Java/Kotlin, API design, data modeling, testing.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and browser/runtime performance.
• Experience with edge compute or serverless runtimes.
• Led projects from scoping to shipping.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Own data collection across the full stack from JS tag to backend services.
• Expand edge infrastructure with Cloudflare Workers and proxy endpoints.
• Build agentic AI systems to diagnose and fix data gaps automatically.
• Improve the event ingestion pipeline for reliability and observability.
• Help lead technical direction on a small, autonomous team.
