Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC’s Prime Video Personalization and Discovery team seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead AI-powered content discovery initiatives. You will define technical strategy and architecture for PV groupings and optimizations, while driving operational excellence across the org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience in at least one language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain AI-based recommendation systems services that drive personalized experiences across Prime Video.
• Build distributed systems to manage high-volume, low-latency AI powered customer experiences.
• Develop tooling and automation to improve efficiency, visibility, and reliability of recommendation systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with researchers, product management, and other software teams to enhance discovery and personalization experiences.
• Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and communicate architectural decisions.
