Job summary
Amazon, Seattle-based, is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for Prime Video Personalization and Discovery. You will lead technical strategy, architecture, and implementation, focusing on PV groupings, re-engagement and optimizations, while driving operational excellence.
You will mentor engineers, guide design decisions, and partner with scientists, product managers and other teams to deliver high-impact personalization features for Prime Video worldwide.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one language.
- 5+ years leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain AI based recommendation systems services that drive personalized experiences across Prime Video.
- Build distributed systems to manage high-volume, low-latency AI powered customer experiences.
- Develop tooling and automation to improve the efficiency, visibility, and reliability of recommendation systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with applied scientists, product management, and other software development teams to enhance discovery and personalization experiences.
