Job summary

Code Metal is seeking an experienced software engineer to help build a new generation of AI-assisted transpilation tools that bridge high level algorithms to embedded deployments, emphasizing correctness and verifiability.

In this role you will enhance libraries that combine Generative AI, static analysis, and formal verification, design extensible translation pipelines, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable code generation and rigorous validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• 3+ years C/C++ and 2+ years Python experience.
• Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders.
• Track record of planning and executing projects in a team setting.
• Strong software delivery fundamentals: code review, testing, CI/CD, release management, and build systems.
• Experience integrating Generative AI or LLMs into software pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop well-tested code for translation products, with a focus on correctness and maintainability.
• Architect and implement workflows spanning code parsing, semantic analysis, AI-assisted generation, and output validation.
• Collaborate with domain specialists to integrate formal verification and static analysis outputs into the code generation pipeline, and enhance C++ code generation.
• Partner with other engineering teams to build robust code repositories and CI/CD processes and integration testing.
