Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering in production environments.
• Experience with GitHub repositories in a collaborative setting.
• Full SDLC expertise for diverse production-scale systems.
• Strong Python proficiency and distributed systems experience.
• Relational databases skills including SQL tuning and concurrency (SQL Server).
• Experience with workflow tools and containerized environments.
• Kubernetes/OpenShift production experience; data pipelines for large-scale processing.
• Familiarity with optimization or simulation platforms and OR concepts.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and building AI native apps.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust worker services on OpenShift for large-scale data processing.
• Drive performance tuning across SQL and routing solver orchestration.
• Develop data staging, enrichment, and transformation pipelines.
• Improve reliability through refactoring and scalable design.
• Integrate ML/AI models into production for predictive analytics.
• Orchestrate workflows using Prefect, Nextmv, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Design monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (e.g., Grafana).
• Lead scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Uphold code quality with reviews, tests, and CI practices.
• Partner with product/ops/data teams to translate business needs into solutions.
