Job summary

Zuora is hiring for a senior software engineering role on the Milo onboarding team in Foster City, CA. This hybrid position focuses on backend API development and AI-driven onboarding workflows for our SaaS platform.

You will design scalable services, collaborate across teams, and implement data pipelines to improve performance and developer experience in a modern subscription business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6–10 years of hands-on product development experience in SaaS/B2B software.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents and complex workflows integration.
• Strong backend API development or full‑stack engineering skills.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and OOD, plus modern frameworks and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable onboarding features powering Zuora’s onboarding platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior engineers and architects.
• Deliver robust APIs, background services and data pipelines.
• Contribute to system designs to improve performance and reliability.
• Address complex onboarding challenges with intelligent agents.
