KBX, a Koch Companies entity, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Wichita to design and deliver scalable AI-enabled software for freight management and logistics platforms. You will collaborate with product and business partners to turn complex problems into production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools and solutions, including LLMs and agentic systems.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using .NET and related frameworks.
• Strong full-stack development with emphasis on backend services, APIs, integrations, data access patterns, and user-facing features.
• Experience developing user-facing features with modern front-end frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-assisted engineering practices across discovery, design, coding, testing, and documentation while ensuring quality, security, and supportability
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and stakeholders to clarify problems and deliver valuable outcomes
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and services across backend and frontend
• Develop complex backend services, APIs, integrations, and user-facing features
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews to uphold standards
• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers on technical challenges
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and observability of applications
• Support and troubleshoot production issues
• Document code, designs, and architecture decisions
• Share reusable patterns to improve speed and quality across teams
