Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to work remotely on healthcare technology platforms, building full-stack solutions with React front ends and C#/.NET back-end services.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, and the Engineering Manager to deliver production-ready software, applying AI-assisted engineering, automated testing, and secure DevOps practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of object-oriented software development and maintenance using C#, .NET Core, and Razor Pages.
• Full-stack development with React.js front ends and .NET back-end services.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure API Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and REST services.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices, including LLM-based tooling, code generation, and workflow automation.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, namely Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating multiple data sources.
• Experience writing automated unit, system, and regression tests using NUnit.
• Strong DevSecOps principles with security embedded in code, CI/CD, and cloud.
• Understanding of Release Management principles in structured environments for managing release levels and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full stack, developing React front ends and C#/.NET back-end services to develop, test, deploy, and maintain solution components that fulfill prioritized business use cases.
• Re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications using the Microsoft tech stack.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering using LLMs, AI developer tooling, and automation to raise development velocity and quality and integrate AI-powered features.
• Implement solutions following best practices, writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code with sound design patterns and documentation.
• Develop design patterns and standards and participate in refactoring or new technology efforts, including research and communication of new patterns for team adoption.
• Ensure automated unit, system, and regression testing coverage prior to launch, writing manual and automated test cases using NUnit.
• Perform peer coding and design reviews with peer developers.
• Conduct independent verification and validation through test case development and test plan execution to ensure production readiness.
