Qualifications

• Professional-level knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or Java and SQL.
• Web application development experience.
• Ability to build scalable, maintainable, high-performing software.
• Experience contributing to design, architecture, and technical docs.
• Strong debugging across distributed/multi-service systems.
• Commitment to code quality, testing, and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
• Plan and deliver new services and features from front end to back end.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code for reliability at scale.
• Document thoughtful software design and architecture decisions.
• Improve code quality through code reviews and best practices.
• Debug and resolve issues across multiple services.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines and scripts.
• Write automated tests across multiple layers; perform thorough manual testing.
• Address engineering challenges to elevate the broader team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products.
