Moody's Corporation is seeking skilled software engineers to design and build scalable financial analytics software. You will work across full-stack web applications, backend services, data assets, and deployment configurations, applying Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, REST, and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building enterprise apps with Java, Spring Boot, REST/GraphQL, and reactive patterns.
• Frontend development with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and data-grid UX.
• Relational DBs: SQL, PostgreSQL, data modeling and migrations.
• APIs and distributed systems with event-driven patterns.
• Cloud-native engineering: containers, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable software for financial projection workflows used by analysts and stakeholders.
• Develop full-stack capabilities across web apps, backend services, data services, and deployments.
• Build user-facing workflows for Ratings analytical apps.
• Enhance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL/REST, caching, messaging, and secure integration.
• Implement front-end with Angular, TypeScript, data grids and Excel-like workflows.
• Own delivery from design to production, including testing, reviews, and post-release support.
• Improve reliability, performance, observability, and maintainability; reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, QA, architects, platform teams; mentor peers.
