Job summary

Morton is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications for a large professional services organization. This role blends traditional software engineering with AI technologies to leverage enterprise data for BI, reporting, and predictive analytics.

The ideal candidate has strong C#, .NET, and SQL Server experience, plus hands-on AI-enabled development and loT capabilities integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft tech.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL development and design.
• Hands-on AI-enabled app development or LLM integration.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and enterprise apps.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/HTML/CSS and modern web tech.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, source control.
• Secure coding, testing, production support, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET, SQL Server.
• Build AI-enabled apps to automate workflows and improve decisions.
• Develop reporting, analytics, and predictive solutions from enterprise data.
• Integrate apps with databases, APIs, and data platforms.
• Create tools to identify trends and forecast business outcomes.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support existing apps and participate in deployments.
• Triage production issues and maintain documentation.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools to improve capabilities.
