Job summary

TraceLink is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and APIs on our secure platform. You’ll own complex features end-to-end, mentor engineers, and collaborate across product, architecture, QA, security, and operations to raise engineering quality.

You’ll apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development and ensure the highest standards of security, reliability, and maintainability while contributing to architecture discussions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent).
• Strong Java development experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, source control, automated testing, secure development, and modern engineering practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications, APIs, distributed systems, integrations, and event-driven workflows.
• Own complex features end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Lead technical delivery for complex stories, epics, and cross-team initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and engineering best practices.
