WEX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the CSE team to lead the development of secure, scalable software across health-related products. You will break down complex features into workable tasks and collaborate across teams.

The role requires strong C# and ASP.NET MVC skills, SQL proficiency, and DevOps, with a willingness to work evenings/weekends for deployments and support production environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strong C# and ASP.NET MVC skills, SQL proficiency, DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with tools and programming languages defined by Development Managers specific to their teams.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Fundamentals, Design, Documentation, Testing, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead team discussions and guide feature design and implementation.
• Support deployments and production validation, including after-hours work.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to standards.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to hiring discussions.
• Ensure security and quality through testing and reviews.
