Job summary

Rightway is hiring Senior Software Engineers to build and scale our web, mobile, and backend systems. You will own architecture across Rails backend and React frontend, and collaborate with Node/NestJS services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building production software.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Backend experience with Ruby on Rails, Node, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs.
• Interest in multiple backend technologies and owning complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery across Rails backend and React frontend.
• Build integrations to connect services to PBM platform.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through pairing and code review discussions.
• Set testing and code-quality standards and raise risks early.
• Collaborate with product and design partners to deliver thoughtful solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well tested code.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to teammates.
• Help improve reliability, performance, and developer experience.
