Harnham, a leading data and analytics consultancy, seeks a senior software engineer to join its NYC hybrid team building a production-grade analytics platform used by investment and business stakeholders.

You will work at the intersection of software engineering, ML, product development, and analytics, shaping both technology and the product roadmap in a fast-growing innovation function with close senior sponsorship.

Qualifications

Strong commercial experience in full-stack software engineering.
Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js.
Experience deploying production-ready applications.
Understanding of ML, predictive analytics workflows.
Experience developing AI-enabled products or LLM features.
Strong API design and backend engineering.
Familiarity with Azure or AWS.
Product-focused mindset with ability to influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

Build and scale full-stack apps combining analytics, AI, and UX.
Design and maintain app infrastructure, APIs, and services.
Collaborate with product/design/analytics/stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Develop software integrating ML/predictive analytics into decision making.
Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices.
Create AI-enabled workflows and high-quality analytical tools.
Improve development, deployment, testing, and operations.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture through code reviews.
