Job summary

Apollo.io is seeking an experienced software engineer to grow Builder Studio, our AI-native tool for building GTM apps. You will own frontend and backend areas, shaping how natural language goals are turned into working apps, while ensuring secure execution of generated code and reliable, scalable performance.

You will work with design partners and customers, expanding integrations across Apollo data and external systems, and raise the bar on quality and ownership in a fast, collaborative

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software with depth in frontend and backend
• Strong TypeScript and React skills for complex UIs
• Solid backend/API design with event‑driven/workflow systems
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs in production: agent loops, tool calling, evals
• Ability to make security calls on untrusted/generated code: sandboxing, scoped tokens
• Track record taking 0→1 products from prototype to customer‑reliable
• Product empathy for non‑technical users and strong ownership of quality
• Current fluency with AI-assisted development and high quality standards

Responsibilities

• Build the core Builder Studio experience: chat-driven build loop, live preview, canvas, publish and share flow
• Shape how the agent converts natural language goals into plans and apps
• Design the runtime and workflow layer for generated apps, including triggers and retries
• Own identity, permissions, secrets, and isolation for generated apps
• Expand integrations across Apollo data and external systems like Google Sheets/Drive and CRMs
• Make relationships between pages, data, workflows, and agents clear in UI
• Collaborate with design partners and customers, turning feedback into shipped improvements
• Raise the bar on reliability, performance, and cost in a fast-moving 0→1 team
