Job summary

Apollo.io is hiring for an experienced software engineer to own major slices of Builder Studio end to end. You will build chat-driven experiences, live previews, and the publish/share flow for a no-code style builder that generates real code and apps.

You will ensure safety and reliability while expanding integrations with Google Sheets, CRMs, and more. Your work will combine frontend editors and complex backend services, with emphasis on AI-assisted development, performance, and user-friendly

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production software.
• Strong TypeScript and React skills with complex UIs.
• Backend design experience and API design focus.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production.
• Security: sandboxing, delegated auth, scoped tokens, secrets handling.

Responsibilities

• Build the core Studio experience: chat-driven build loop, live preview, canvas, publish and share flow.
• Shape how the agent turns natural-language goals into plans and safe edits.
• Design runtime and workflow layer for generated apps, including triggers and retries.
• Own identity, permissions, secrets, and isolation for generated apps.
• Expand integrations across Apollo data and external systems like Google Sheets/CRM."
• Make relationships between pages, data, workflows, and agents legible in UI.
• Work with design partners and customers, translate feedback into shipped improvements.
• Raise the quality bar: tests, evals, reliability, performance and cost.
