Job summary

Postman, the world’s leading API platform, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for Fern, a Postman company. You’ll build APIs, scale AI infrastructure, and craft developer experiences reaching millions of users.

You will work with teams across Vercel, AWS, and frontend engineering in TypeScript and Next.js, ensuring high performance and reliability while solving real customer challenges.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Open source experience and care for developer experience as a craft.
• Strong written and verbal communication to solve technical problems with customers.
• Bonus: Experience building with TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Scale infrastructure to handle growth, with AI systems deployed on Vercel, AWS, and Turbopuffer for performance and security.
• Stay close to customers by working with API teams at big clients and shipping improvements based on feedback.
• Collaborate across the stack with product designers and frontend engineers (TypeScript, Next.js) to define polished interfaces.
