We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer that loves working on enterprise cloud hosted systems with a focus on integrating AI solutions. Latham, New York | Remote

Responsibilities

1. Research complex technical problems, formulate recommendations, and build technically sound and scalable AI augmented solutions.
2. Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models tailored to the specific needs of the web application, including recommendation systems, predictive analytics, natural language processing, data analytics, and more.
3. Continuously improve and optimize machine learning models and algorithms, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and accuracy benchmarks.
4. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and development team to refine requirements, analyze, design and create solutions that target defined business needs.
5. Write and test code, documenting and implementing functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated application systems.
6. Utilize new technologies and tools to enhance applications.
7. Provide guidance to less experienced team members to ensure knowledge transfer and training are successfully meeting department goals.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in either Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or related field. Comparable work experience can be substituted.
2. Strong understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and how to deploy and manage AI solutions within these environments.
3. Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML models, including practical knowledge of model selection, training, testing, and optimization.
4. Familiarity with CI/CD practices, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control (e.g., Git).
5. Experience with data preprocessing and feature engineering, particularly with structured and unstructured data sources.
6. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and how to interact with data for AI model training and inference.
7. Hands-on experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, or Microsoft ML.NET strongly desirable.
8. 3+ years of experience in design and development of multi-tier browser-based applications, using the .NET platform, C#, and cloud technologies desirable.
9. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
10. Ability to work in a team environment using Agile-based development methodologies.

State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements

Salary will generally fall between $66,585 - $120,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
