Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Agent Security) to build AI security solutions for enterprise customers. You will design security controls for agentic AI systems, work with PM/QA teams, and develop tools to support evaluations, deployments, and integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years backend development with cloud-native infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, gRPC, WebSocket and proxies.

Responsibilities

• Build AI security solutions for enterprise customers.
• Design and implement security controls for agentic AI systems, including agents, tools, and agent-to-agent interactions.
• Work cross-functionally with PM and QA teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Develop pre-sales and post-sales tools and environments to support customer evaluations, deployments, troubleshooting, and integration.
• Research emerging technologies and security trends to identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
