Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build AI security solutions for enterprise customers. You will design and implement security controls for agentic AI systems, collaborating with product and QA to deliver secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years backend development with scalable services.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, gRPC and WebSocket protocols.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Self-driven with strong debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Build AI security solutions for enterprise customers.
• Design security controls for agentic AI systems and agent-to-agent interactions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PM and QA teams.
• Develop tools and environments for customer evaluations, deployments, troubleshooting, and integration.
• Research emerging technologies to identify opportunities and innovate.
