Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Agent Security) to build AI security solutions for enterprise customers. You will design and implement security controls for agentic AI systems, including agents, tools, and agent-to-agent interactions.

You will work cross-functionally with product and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions and develop tools for pre-sales and post-sales support, evaluations, deployments, troubleshooting, and integration.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong backend development experience in cloud-native infrastructure and scalable services.
• Solid understanding of common protocols and APIs (HTTP, gRPC, WebSocket, proxies, API gateways).

Responsibilities

• Build AI security solutions for enterprise customers.
• Design and implement security controls for agentic AI systems (agents, tools, agent-to-agent interactions).
• Collaborate cross-function with PM and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Develop pre- and post-sales tools and environments for evaluations, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Research emerging technologies to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
