DataSnipper in New York is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Agent Builder team behind Alwin, an agentic automation platform for audit and finance. You will build the authoring experience, define multi-step agents and ensure governance across the library.

You will work with Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, MongoDB on Azure and contribute frontend work in React. The role combines open-ended problem solving with production-grade software delivery for top audit firms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering with production-grade Python.
• Experience building and operating agentic systems in production.
• Experience with LLM APIs and agent frameworks across providers.
• Data-driven web APIs on a major cloud platform with strong architecture skills.
• End-to-end feature ownership including frontend work in React.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain agent authoring experiences encoding audit methodology into multi-step agents.
• Design agent definition models, steps, tools, inputs, thresholds and gates.
• Collaborate with Agent Runtime, Evals and other teams to ensure clean integration.
• Instrument agents in production using Grafana/OpenTelemetry/MLflow for tracing.
• Own governance, versioning and publishing in the Agent Library; ensure security and auditing.
